Passenger traffic at Las Vegas airport drops in April

In the United States, Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas reported that 4,379,755 passengers utilized the airport in April. This figure represents a 7.1 per cent decrease year-over-year. Domestic travel continued to constitute the majority of the airport’s traffic, with 4,039,313 passengers, marking a 6.6 per cent drop from April 2025. International passenger traffic saw a more significant decrease of 12.4 per cent, totaling 272,386.
Among the top five domestic airlines, Southwest recorded a 3.9 per cent decrease in passengers, reaching 1,767,801, while Delta saw a 2.8 per cent decline to 447,670. In contrast, United experienced a 3.7 per cent increase in passengers, with 387,309.
Year-to-date passenger traffic amounts to 16,935,330 travelers, which is a 5.6 per cent reduction from the 17,940,001 travelers recorded during the first four months of 2025.
According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), approximately 3.28 million people visited Las Vegas in April, a 1.8 per cent decrease year-over-year. Hotel occupancy for the month was recorded at 83.1 per cent, down by 1.5 percentage points.
